Walk the Aachen Way
As well as being donors to CFFC, the team at Full Circle decided to raise funds and awareness for Happy Days by doing a virtual walk to Aachen. The goal was to take part in a virtual walk to the twin town Aachen which was achieved over five walks and they raised an impressive £1,412. Participants enthused that, ‘It was great to go on new walks and appreciate the Calderdale countryside. It was a nice and relaxed informal way to get to know new people and the doggies all made friends with each other too!’.
These walks were so successful that we are taking up the idea at CFFC. We are going to start with staff walks, then open them up to Board and Committee members, and then to everyone. If you are interested in getting involved, email Steve@cffc.co.uk
