Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II

We are extremely sad to hear the news that her Majesty the Queen has passed away.

She was an inspiration serving her country for such a long reign and for the support she gave charities and work she did.

We are proud that we enabled creative community projects to bring people together and celebrate The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee earlier this year through the Let’s Create Jubilee Fund.

It has been heart warming to see so many Voluntary organisations in Calderdale receive the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Services in recent years, and is further affirmation of how important and what a valuable contribution the Queen thought the Voluntary sector contributed to society.

We offer our sincere condolences to the Royal Family at this difficult time.
