Tickets for the Spirit Awards 2023 have now sold out.

Welcome to the 2023 Calderdale Community Spirit Awards, organised by the Community Foundation for Calderdale to celebrate another year of amazing efforts by our local charitable organisations.

Hosted at The Venue, Bowers Mill, the Awards are on Thursday 23rd November 2023, and it is sure to be a moving evening as we recognise charities and individuals who do so much for the people of Calderdale.

Guests arrive from 6.00 pm for a drinks reception, start sitting down at 6.30 pm, dinner is served at 7.00 pm, Awards ceremony starts at 9.00 pm and we will finish by 11.00 pm.

To view the Awards brochure, please click here. A printed copy will be available for you on the evening.

Whether you are a Not-for-profit organisation celebrating your achievements, someone who works with charities, or perhaps a trustee or donor, a friend or family member of a finalist, we would love for you to join us. You can book tickets individually or a table of ten.

Tickets are £35 per person (incl VAT) and include a welcome drink and a two-course meal.

Traditionally, the dress code has been Black Tie and National Dress, however we encourage you to ‘Dress to Impress – Yourself.’ If you can wear something you already have or buy something from a charity shop to reduce your carbon footprint, even better.

To order tickets, please complete the following form, CFFC will send you an invoice for the tickets. Due to high demand tickets must be paid for within 14 days. If you don’t know exact names at this point, but know how many tickets you would like, please just put Guest A, Guest B, etc in the form below and you can confirm guest names and menu choices later.

You will receive an invoice for your tickets via email. Tickets can be paid for by cheque or bank transfer.

We have a Green theme for the Awards this year to help raise awareness of the climate emergency and how you can play your part and reduce your carbon footprint. We would really encourage you to order the vegetarian option of roasted squash, tomato, and spinach Wellington and that is why it is Menu A, the first choice. Menu B is the meat option and has a higher carbon footprint.

Menu Choice A – Suitable for Vegetarians and vegans

Roasted squash, tomato, and spinach wellington, thyme and garlic roasted potatoes, buttered greens

Sticky toffee pudding, toffee sauce, clotted cream ice cream

Menu Choice B – Suitable for Meat eaters

Pan roasted chicken breast, roasted roots, chive mash, roasted chicken jus.

Sticky toffee pudding, toffee sauce, clotted cream

Without the extremely generous support of our sponsors, this event simply would not be possible.
