#HAF funds activities during holidays.
We have worked closely with Calderdale Council to deliver the next stage of our work providing activities and healthy food to children and young people during the school holidays.
We gave over £300,000 of grants to organisations to provide activities and healthy meals and snacks to children and young people. Projects, summer camps, and activities ran all over the borough and the variety was incredible.
Activities ranged from sports, dance and arts and crafts through to archery, rock climbing and mountain biking.
As always, visiting these projects in person and hearing what these young people would be doing if they didn’t take part in schemes like this and listening to the positive impact it had on them was heart warming and reassuring.
