CFFC September Member Networking Event at Todmorden Hippodrome Theatre
Our September Member Networking Event was held at, and sponsored by, the elegant and historical Todmorden Hippodrome Theatre.
In between the usual friendly and positive networking, we were treated to a heart-warming documentary about the history of the theatre, created by local film-maker Lily Freeston.
They also shared details about their current ‘Raise The Roof’ appeal, aiming to raise the final £500,000 to expand the theatre with an extension over the props room, which will provide a larger and improved rehearsal space. Our CEO, Steve, announced to the room that a local anonymous donor wished to pledge £5,000 to the appeal, which, fittingly, raised the roof a little for a moment.
