CFFC Plaques demonstrate how we’re ‘Proud To Fund’ so many fantastic organisations in Calderdale
The Community Foundation for Calderdale (CFFC) is excited to announce the launch of our new ‘Proud to Fund’ plaques, designed to recognise some of the many incredible Calderdale organisations that have received funding from us in recent years. These plaques will be displayed at various locations, serving as a visible reminder of our commitment to supporting local causes that matter.
Last year alone we were able to award 398 grants to organisations doing great work in Calderdale, and one way we can bring attention to at least some of these groups is through offering them a CFFC plaque. Each plaque features the wording, “Proud to fund local causes that matter,” highlighting our dedication to supporting the many diverse groups that make a real difference in our communities.
In addition to the elegant design, each plaque includes a QR code that links directly to a special page on our website. By scanning the code, individuals can easily access a complete list of all organisations that have received a CFFC plaque. This page features images and brief descriptions of each organisation, along with links to their websites or Facebook page, making it easy for the community to learn more about their important work.
At CFFC, we believe that every local cause plays a vital role in our community. From arts and culture to education and social welfare, our funding supports a wide range of projects that enhance the lives of residents in Calderdale. We are immensely proud of the organisations we support and the essential work they do. Together, we can continue to build a strong and vibrant community that benefits all its members.
For more information about the organisations featured on our plaques, please visit our Plaques webpage, and scan the QR code on any plaque you encounter. Join us in celebrating the spirit of Calderdale and the incredible local causes that make our borough a better place to live and work.
