Trailblazer Inclusion Grants 2026
About the fund
Trailblazer programmes support Calderdale residents who are economically inactive and not seeking work due to a number of personal, social and economic barriers. Funded by Calderdale Council, the aim of Trailblazer is to provide wraparound support to enable participants in the programme to take small steps towards employment.
Trailblazer Inclusion Grants are designed to extend this work further. Successful applicants will engage with identified communities in need and those furthest away from the labour market using varying methods of expertise. Learning from Trailblazer Year 1 has shown we need to increase the following to help people take small steps towards employment:
- Reach marginalised communities
- Use creative approaches to improve social, health and wellbeing
Who can apply and how much can you apply for?
Voluntary and community groups are invited to apply for Trailblazer Inclusion Grants worth up to £10,000.

When is the deadline?
The deadline for applications is Thursday 13th August 10.00 am. Please note that applications submitted at the last minute, may not meet the deadline. A surge in submissions can result in a delay in processing. These applications will not be accepted. As most funds are oversubscribed, priority is given to applications submitted on time. To be sure of your application arriving before the deadline, apply a minimum of a day beforehand.
