Halifax Town Hall Tour for CFFC Supporters
Supporters, Donors, and Trustees came together at Halifax Town Hall for a special afternoon. After afternoon tea with the Mayor of Calderdale and his Wife in the Mayor’s Parlour, we were treated to a fascinating tour of the Town Hall by Sue Hanson from Halifax Heritage Tours. If you haven’t done the tour already, we would highly recommend that you do. Did you know that it cost just £56,000 and took only 2 1/2 years to build? And that Sir Barry Charles who was the architect then went on to design the Houses of Parliament?
This was a lovely afternoon shared with people who all make our work possible and it was a chance to bond over how proud we are to be in Calderdale. Below are a few photos from this special event.
