Christine Gow is making Cream Teas again to raise money again, this time for CFFC and Mothershare.
Christine would like to make it a bigger fundraiser and raise more money than she did previously, that’s over 300 cream teas! It’s taking palace on Saturday 2nd April 2022.
About Mothershare
Mothershare’s mission is to provide disadvantaged children and families with a range of important items that can make the difference between having something and nothing. This includes the essential items you need to raise a child; from blankets, buggies, beds, cots, nappies, toiletries, essentials, baby gates, clothes, bouncers, books, toys and much, much more.
Mothershare receive many donations of clothes and equipment, but Christine wants to raise money for the things they have to buy new, things like cots, mattresses, bottles, baby monitors, and underwear for children. If a family need a pair of shoes for their child and they don’t have any in their size, they will go out and buy them.
They offer this free support because they believe every child deserves the best start in life, and that sometimes, some children and families need a bit of extra support and help. Most people have been down on their luck at some point.
The cream teas are a minimum donation of £10 for 2, £15 for 3, £20 for 4, etc.
There will also be a raffle on the day, so remember to take some cash when you pick up your cream tea to buy some tickets.
