Another successful event for Professional Advisors

Over 30 Professional Advisors took part in an online networking event at the end of July growing the network further. As connectors and conveners, we pride ourselves on also supporting different areas of our community. Having enormous workloads, and being under high levels of stress and pressure for the last 18 months, we invited Jonny from Healthy Minds to share a presentation on how people can spot the signs of mental health and then how to feel confident that they could signpost them for more help.

In our experience lots of people are accessing mental health services, whether it be pro-actively and in a preventative state, at crisis point, or as part of their recovery. No one has lived through a pandemic so we are all living with mental health and you never know who you might be able to help, it could be yourself, your friends and family, colleagues, staff, or customers/ clients.

Some free mental health first aid training is available if you work for a not for profit organisation, are a Trustee, or volunteer. If you would like info about this training, the presentation, or a list of mental health services, please email rachel@cffc.co.uk

People are having 1 to 1’s and getting to know each other so they feel confident passing referrals. We have decided to still have the next event online for the time being. It’s free to join and you get a goody box. So if you are a Professional Advisor (someone who gives professional advice to businesses in Calderdale, for example, an Accountant, HR, payroll, Solicitor, IFA, funding), to register your place on Wednesday 22nd September at 8.00 am – 9.30 am, visit eventbrite.
