We’re delighted to announce the launch of the Community Foundation for Calderdale’s Local Insight Summary Report 2025. This summary is a concise, accessible guide to the most important statistics shaping life in Calderdale today highlighting positive insights and also areas for concern.
This summary report has been produced for donors, members, funders, partners, public sector leaders, charities, and anyone in the community who wants to make an informed difference. In it, you will find key figures on poverty, housing, community engagement, crime, health, and climate action in one handy document.

Nigel Cliffe, Chair of the CFFC Board explained, “Calderdale is a vibrant community that excels in fostering connections and showing kindness, reflecting our strength and resilience. However, there are critical areas where we can improve our support for one another but I believe that together we can take action and connect people to collaborate to create an inclusive Calderdale where everyone has the support they need to thrive.”
