Existing Events Enhancement Fund

Year of Culture 2024

Calderdale is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2024 with a Year of Culture known as CultureDale, spanning from April 2024 to April 2025. The CultureDale initiative aims to foster creativity, community engagement, and celebration throughout the borough.

As part of Calderdale’s Year of Culture 2024, the Existing Events Enhancement Fund aims to empower existing event organisers to boost their planned activities during Calderdale’s Year of Culture. If you hold a regular event that you think could be improved or developed to fit with Calderdale’s Year of Culture 2024, then you can apply for funds to help you do this.

How much funding is available?

The Existing Events Enhancement Fund has a total fund of £50,000 available. Applicants may apply for grants ranging from £500 to £4,000.

How to apply

This programme is managed by the Community Foundation for Calderdale (CFFC), on behalf of Calderdale Council.
