A simple, effective and long lasting way of helping Calderdale's local communities and groups.
What The Calderdale Pledge Involves?
The Calderdale Pledge is a promise of £5,000, either as a one-off donation or with weekly or monthly payments of whatever you can afford. You will be contributing to funds which support on average, over 100 groups every year. Around £1.5 million was awarded to local good cause in the last three years.
By Pledging you will receive:
- An invitation to a drinks reception to meet the Lord Lieutenant of West Yorkshire.
- Twice yearly briefings about the Foundation’s work.
- Regular case studies describing successful projects, along with opportunities to visit them.
- Recognised in the Foundation’s published list of Pledge supporters.
- Invitations to key events, meeting other Foundation supporters hearing from groups benefitting from Foundation support, or hearing topical speaker.
- The Calderdale Pledge Certificate
- Certification of Life-Time Membership*
How much has been Pledged?
The Calderdale Pledge Tracker at the top of this page shows the amount pledged up to March 18 2010. This £35,000 will become almost £60,000 with thanks to Gift Aid. Watch this page for regular updates on our progress.
